I'm reading it and it's beautiful... has anyone read it? Or Crime and Punishment.

I loved Crime and Punishment. I first read it in college because I thought I should, and have read it twice since then. Raskolnikov was such an asshole, but you had to feel sorry for him.

I read the Brothers (well, listened to a dramatized version of it) and didn't think much of it. However, if you loved it, I guess I'll have to give it a try, this time the original: well, a translation of the original.

Thanks.
Bob

yes, I also read it and it is marvelous! It is not "light reading" though so if you expect to read it just for fun and without thinking much, you shouldn't even start. I have also seen the theatre play which lasted for five hours and three quarters and it was also great!

Sounds great! I'll give it a try.
